Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern access to wheelnames.org and its Wheel of Names tools. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully, follow announced activity rules, and accept that a spinner produces an automated selection—not professional advice or a guaranteed outcome.

Eligibility and acceptance
You must be legally able to accept these terms. A parent, guardian, teacher, employer, or organizer is responsible for supervising use by minors and for deciding whether a wheel activity is appropriate.
What Wheel Names provides
Wheel Names provides browser-based tools that display and select user-supplied names or options. Features can include standard random selection, elimination, weighting, multiple winners, accumulation, auto-spin, local history, skins, images, sharing, and draw receipts. Features may differ by page, device, or browser.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for lawful classroom, workplace, household, event, entertainment, and planning activities. You must not:
- attack, overload, scrape excessively, reverse engineer, or interfere with the site;
- upload malware or attempt unauthorized access;
- use the wheel to harass, discriminate, exploit, endanger, or impersonate someone;
- enter information you have no right to use;
- present a modified, weighted, or curated draw as independently random;
- use the site to evade gambling, sweepstakes, employment, education, privacy, accessibility, or consumer-protection laws.
Your entries, images, and exports
You retain responsibility for the names, text, images, links, and other material you add. You confirm that you have any permissions needed to use that material and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights. Avoid confidential, sensitive, or identifying information. You control files, screenshots, shared URLs, and exports after they leave the site.
Random results and probability-changing modes
A standard spin is designed to give each active entry an equal chance. Weighting, elimination, cooldown, Smart Fair Rotation, duplicate entries, multiple-winner settings, or manual list edits can change eligibility or probability. Organizers are responsible for confirming entries and disclosing the selected mode before an important draw. Read Randomness and Fairness.
Intellectual property
The site design, original text, software, graphics, marks, and arrangement are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the public site for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership or permit republishing the service as your own.
Third-party links
External links are provided for context or convenience. We do not control third-party content, availability, security, or policies and do not endorse every statement on a linked page.
Availability and changes
We may correct, update, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site. Temporary outages, browser limitations, network failures, caching, or device settings can affect operation. Keep an independent record of important participant lists and results.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free output, fitness for a particular purpose, or compliance of your activity with local rules. See the Disclaimer.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wheel Names and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for lost data, revenue, opportunity, reputation, or prizes arising from use of or inability to use the site. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
Responsibility for misuse
Where permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful use, your entries or uploads, your activity rules, or your violation of these terms or another person’s rights.
Suspension and termination
We may block or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the site, users, or third parties; respond to legal requirements; or address abuse. Provisions that logically survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and limits of liability—continue to apply.
Applicable law and updates
Applicable law and mandatory consumer protections govern these terms. We do not select a jurisdiction that would remove rights you cannot waive. Updated terms apply prospectively from the date shown above. If you do not agree with a revised term, stop using the site. Questions can be sent through Contact Us.
Consumer-protection reference
Giveaway organizers can review FTC consumer guidance about prize claims.
