Scope of this DMCA Policy
This process is for copyright claims about material hosted or controlled by Wheel Names. It is not the correct process for trademark disputes, privacy complaints, broken links, or disagreement with an idea. Use Contact Us for those topics.
Required elements of a copyright notice
A written notice should include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and enough information for us to locate it.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.
Identify the material precisely
Provide the complete wheelnames.org URL and describe the text, image, code, or other material at issue. Broad requests to remove an entire site without identifying the protected work and specific location may be impossible to evaluate.
Counter-notification
If material you supplied was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe removal was a mistake or misidentification, a counter-notification should include your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, and the contact and jurisdictional statements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). We may forward the counter-notification to the original claimant.
Repeat infringement
Where appropriate and technically applicable, we may restrict users or material associated with repeated valid infringement claims. We may also preserve records needed to address abuse, disputes, or legal obligations.
Good faith and misrepresentation
Copyright exceptions such as fair use, public domain status, license, and authorized use should be considered before sending a notice. Knowingly making material misrepresentations may create liability. This page is procedural information, not legal advice.

Submit the complete notice through Contact Us and start the message with DMCA Notice or DMCA Counter-Notification. Do not include passwords or unrelated personal data. Using the form does not mean Wheel Names has accepted the legal sufficiency of a notice.
