How to Use Elimination Mode for No-Repeat Results

To use elimination mode correctly, decide when a selected entry leaves the active pool and when the full list resets. It is ideal for unique turns, presentation order, task order, and one-win-per-person rounds.

use elimination mode: the short answer

Enable elimination before the first spin, confirm that every active entry is eligible, and let each selected result leave the pool. Save the order or History before resetting; a reset makes previously removed entries eligible again.

When elimination mode is the right choice

Use elimination for drawing several unique winners, creating a complete speaking order, rotating through classroom names, assigning one task per person, or selecting options without repetition.

Do not use it when repeat outcomes are allowed or when every spin must use the same unchanged population.

How the active probabilities change

After one entry is removed, the remaining entries divide the next spin’s probability. With six equal entries, each starts at one-sixth; after one leaves, each remaining entry has one-fifth.

The process is random without replacement. It creates a random order, not independent repeated trials.

Reset, undo, and redraw rules

Set the reset boundary before starting: after one meeting, after everyone receives a turn, or after all prizes are allocated. Use Undo for an accidental edit, not to reject an inconvenient valid result.

If an entry is ineligible, record the reason and follow the announced redraw process.

Record the complete no-repeat sequence

History can preserve the selected order. Export or copy it when presentation sequence, staffing, prizes, or other follow-up depends on it.

Keep private lists off public screens and use identifiers when full names are unnecessary.

use elimination mode FAQs

Does elimination make the first spin more fair?

It does not change the first equal-chance spin. It changes later spins by removing earlier results.

Can I choose several unique winners?

Yes. Use repeated elimination or the dedicated multiple-winner mode.

What happens after the last entry?

The active list is empty until you undo, restore, or reapply the original entries.
